Join us Friday May 17, 7pm at The Bitter End for a special *SNEAK PREVIEW* of our new album!! *The Neil Young Project* is an inspired re-working of eleven notable songs from the Neil Young catalogue. The iconic, award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist is known for his prolific body of work spanning from the mid-1960s to present day. He is considered one of the most influential musicians of his generation, and his songs have been covered by a who’s who of musicians over the years from Bob Dylan, to Johnny Cash, to Norah Jones. This new jazz-inflected album from vocalist Kelley Suttenfield (her third to date) is NOT a tribute album in the traditional sense, but a fresh presentation of Young’s beloved classics, as well as a few lesser-known gems.
With Matthew Fries (piano, Fender Rhodes); Tosh Sheridan (electric & acoustic guitars); Phil Palombi (double bass); Eric Halvorson (drums, percussion); and Tom Valdez (cello) on select tracks.
Friday, May 17, 7pm – *ONE SET ONLY*
